HEALTH INSURANCE
Acupuncture massage is accepted by most health insurances under the conditions of their supplementary insurances for alternative medicine.
I am a member of EMR (“Erfahrungs Medizinisches Register”, Empirical Medicine Register, an independent, national register, which assigns a quality label for the basic and advanced training of therapists of the complementary and alternative medicine), of EGK (“Die Eidgenössische Gesundheitskasse”, a health insurance company) and APM (Acupuncture Massage according to Penzel).
The membership in these associations implies that my education fulfills the requirements in full. However, every health insurance company decides independently to what extent they compensate for therapy costs.
